Stephen Wauck joined Katz Friedman On October 1, 2025. His practice is focused on representing injured workers in Workers' Compensation claims throughout Illinois. He also represents plaintiffs in personal injury cases.

Prior to joining Katz Friedman, Stephen worked for 14 years at another petitioners/plaintiffs firm, concentrating in Workers' Compensation claims, trying dozens of cases at arbitration and litigating cases all the way up to the Appellate Court.

Stephen speaks fluent Spanish, enabling him to communicate directly with his clients, understand their stories, and answer all their questions.

Before starting law school at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Stephen earned a BA in history from the University of Dallas and spent a year in Germany on a Fulbright scholarship; he is also fluent in German.
