Jason Carroll joined the Workers’ Compensation practice of Katz Friedman in 2008. Prior to this, he worked at another Chicago law firm where his practice also focused on representing injured workers before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. He has successfully litigated dozens of cases at Arbitration and on Commission and Circuit Court appeals involving back injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive trauma, and exposure.
Much of his practice involves representing union workers in the automotive field who are injured on the job. He has the background and knowledge to work within their union contracts in order to reach the best possible resolution of their claims.
Jason earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. That same year, he was admitted to the Illinois State Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Franklin College of Indiana where he graduated with a double major in Political Science and American Studies. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Workers’
Compensation Lawyers Association.
When he is not representing his clients before the Commission, Jason enjoys watching the White Sox and Blackhawks, and also enjoys playing ice hockey, working out, and cooking in his spare time.
